HU AND CLOCK not working...blown fuse??

Today I installed my component speakers and amp... After playing them for a minute, my headunit shut off , so did the digital clock on the dash. I played around with a few connections but nothing turned on. I am thinking a blown fuse is my problem but i dont know which fuse in the box, there are around 50 of them. Please reply if you have a clue to what happened? ...I can't stand driving around in silence lol.

Oh yea, forgot i wasn't in the 4th gen forum... I have a 1996 SE and the amp was an alpine mrp-f200 and the head unit was an alpine 7874. Also if it helps, a lot of my connections were not done so well. It was a temporary install to see if it all worked... might this have caused it??

yep, that would've caused it. redo the connections properly, then replace the fuse and try again.

I agree, redo the connections, also, the clock wont turn on unless the ignition wire is connected, at least in my car thats how it is. Check it out.
