Has anyone installed XM radio? I need some idea on which unit and where to mount it. I dont want one of the huge ghetto things on my dash. Any advice and pictures would be great.

I mounted the antenna ontop of my roof..

 

I have a 4th gen, but I put my Sirius antenna on the rear deck and it seems to work fine. Also, you could get a XM ready headunit. Then you wouldn't need to mount a separate controller on your dash

 

Thats what i was talking about. mounting location for the controller not the antenna. i dont want to get a new headunit cause i like the bose one i have

 

I have a Delphi set up that I mounted with a Pro Fit cell phone mount. I have a 2002 SE with Bose and it works pretty good with the FM modulater. I have the antenna mounted on the rear deck and I have all the wires hidden. There is a lot of room behind the headunit to mount the modulater and the antenna adapters you need.
