where to spray foam?

where to spray foam?

i bought some of that expanding foam stuff. where should i spray this to best stop rattling. can i spray it in the crevases in the door and rear speaker deck?

Did you get Great stuff from Home depot? i just got some too and i sprayed in the holes of the trunk door and also in the spot below the jack and the oposite side and thats it... any more ideas?

yes that is what i got like 30 minutes ago. i havnt gotten a chance to spray it yet. but did you notice any differences?

yes the side feels firmer but still expanding so make sure you dont put too much... is taking for ever i think it needs air so is going to take some 6 more hours to cured, my guess

i also got some 3 in 1 silent step underlayment for the door panels and rear deck. i couldnt find peal and seal. so i figured id try this. it says it is a great sound absorbant.

Do not spray too much of that stuff. It normally takes 24 hours to fully cure and finnish expanding. It will stick to almost anything and could really mess up your car if you are not careful. Another thing that works in cracks and crevices and is safer are normal foams and insulation batts. You may cut and stuff untill you get the desired improvement.
