Viper 790vx Responder?

Is the Viper 790vx Responder a good alarm? Anybody have this alarm? How does it compare to the Viper 550 ESP alarm? I'm looking to get an alarm that has just about everything. Paging system, engine start, trunk release, door auto locking when car starts, window roll up and down, etc. Any advice?

I paid $400 for it. That included installation, and the module for the windows to roll up and down.

Did you get the window rollup and down thing from the same place u got ur alarm or did u have to special order it? Also our stock alarms have the window roll down feature can that be re-used on the viper 790vx?

My friend owns a local stereo shop. He pretty much hooks me up with anything I want, at a discount.
The reason I got the alarm so cheap is beacuse they were having a big sales event when the alarm first came out, and he wanted to have a demo vehicle to show people how it works. It's the perks of knowing someone I guess.

id reccomend this alarm to anybody. The only down side is that the clicker is kinda of bulky when you have your keys in your pockets.

It was more when his store started carrying it instead of viper making it, so I don't know. When I got it, I had never heard of it before so I just assumed that it had just came out. Is there anything different about the Beta version?

Just look at the brain of the unit and see if it's stamped with a viper or phython logo..

Like I said, I wasn't sure if it was when it first came out or not. I had never heard of it before, and my friends store just started carrying it so I just assumed it had just came out. I was wrong, no big deal. Still I didnt pay as much as anybody else did.
