It's all about the same in a decent dollar range, if you can tell the dif between the 40 bone and 100 bone cables, more power to ya.... As it were

The best one is the one you can afford that doesn't melt. In most cases welding cable that costs less than $1 per foot is the best. Strand count yeilds greater flexibility. Some would say that the majority of the power flows through the skin of the wire, therefore higher strand count would be better. I don't know that you could measure the difference with a multimeter of an average system.

But if you are looking for nice cables the stinger hexagonal is the most most flexible and has the smoothest install appearance. That's likely what I would get if money were not an issue.

One problem, your vehicle manufaturer specifies insulation that withstands 105 Degree's celsius. That stuff is only good to 60 celsius. Can't even cook a hot dog at that temp. Much less run it under the hood or to an amp.

Yeah, I have. Insulation that is rated lower than the cooking temp of a hot dog is not a good thing to boast for power wire. Do you honestly think I posted what I did to get a response from you? Nope.

screw that sissy 4 gauge if price is no problem and run 0 gauge like the big boys do. Only problem is getting a drillbit big enough to put a hole in the firewall, took me all day to get mine run to the back.

Drill bit is simple, just use a unibit, or also known as a step bit.
