Infinity Basslink Question

Do I need to buy anything (adapter etc) besides a power wire and fuse holder to connect an Infinity Basslink sub to my 2000 Bose system?
I've seen some amp threads that call for an adaptor and some that say you can just splice into the wiring system
Are these safe instructions?

Thanks.

I recomment to buy the AOEM-NIS2 kit. I have heard that several people just use the rear speaker weres for the signal. The basslink has speaker level inputs.
