Quick Questions for SUB owners

1. how much does it cost to mount the subs like some have into their trunk so it looks like theyre part of the trunk.

2. what do you guys do to stop the annoying trunk lid rattle.

3. does mounting the subs really eliminate all surrounding noises.

4. does anyone have subs just plain ol in a box anymore

for nice fibeeglass job you are looking between 200-1000$ and up. Itg all depends how far you want to go with it... and trust me you can go far.

Simple solution is to have the entire car done with a product like dynamat or brown bread. And just the trunk wont solve your problems. We are talking abuot the entire car if you want a good job.

And here I dont know what you mean.

Im designing my own enclosure. It's not hard. Just takes time. I have 2 Audiobahn 12"s (1100 Watts RMS) and 2 JBL 1200 watt amps.

I fixed the annoying trunk rattle by removing some of the lining. Secured the lights and wires with tape, double-sided taped the spoiler. Stopped some of the rattle but not all. However, the bass was loud enough to hide it.

I have two subs in a dual band-pass box with a plexiglass cover. Hate it really.... cover has a problem with coming loose, glass is cracking, air leaks throughout the box.
