Bose Radio Constant/Memory wire voltage?...Wire dead?

Ok, my radio died....got another deck off my buddy. But when I was testing for the constant and switched 12volt, I found that the switched is fine and give the proper voltage. But the constant only reads like 2volts when the car is off....Does that make sense? Will I have run a new constant wire? Is this normal for suck a low voltage, or is my constant wire or link faulty? And anybody have any idea where I can get teh color codes for the wires on the BOSE system? All I find is the chart for non-bose and people asking for the BOSE chart but with no reply.....HUge thanks as always!
