Extra Ground???

Today i was having my radio put back in since it went out for repair(kenwood flip) and when he was putting it back in i noticed i had an extra ground that wasnt attached to anything. Everything works fine and i have no problem but i was wondering if i should take it apart and ground it anyway. It was coming from the harness. He said its nothing and just let it hang there but i dont like it

Many installers take the easy way out and let the antenna act as the ground. This could allow the system to be noisy.
