I don't really have enough money to make a good sound system right now because of school and because i'm focusing on exterior (rims,kit,etc). I was thinking about buying a used bose sub from someone and putting it in a box, then getting some cheap pioneer ts-g1647 for the interior. The reason i want the sub is because of the bass, I would really prefer some more bass because the pioneer's are pretty punchy but doesn't hit low enough. This is only going to be a temporary solution for a year. Can anyone give me some insight as to whether this is gonna work? I have heard the bose sub before and although its not that great, i think its the cheapest solution for me right now. How many watts would i need to push the sub? THANKS!
