Kicker amp setup? easy question for the audio experts

i have two kicker amps, one 600.1 for subs, and a 200.2 for inside speakers (components and coaxials)

i dont want any bass or very very minimal bass going to inside speakers but dont know exactly what i should put these ***** to. Can someone tell me what i should put bass boost, x-over, and gains to for each amp?

right now i think bass boost is a little high and not sure where x-over is but i am getting a little too much bass to inside speakers and worried of popping something...gets real nasty with the high pounding songs

any and all help is appreciated, this should be real easy for those who know a great deal about audio

P.S. - Pearl96max is not online for me to ask

you need to set the crossover switch to high pass on the 200.2. then you need to set the crossover **** to 200 so it will get rid of the bass to your inside speakers. keep the bass boost at zero. as for the gain you need to turn up your stereo to 3/4 of the volume, then slowly turn the gain up until you hear distortion then turn it down just a little to prevent clipping.

I agree with most of this. I don't know if I would set the high pass at 200hz though. If you set it at 200, you would need to set the sub amp at 200 to pick up sounds under 200hz. My suggestion is to set the sub amp for low-pass and set the component amp for high pass. Set your x-over freqs to about 80-100hz on both amps. Set your radio's bass control to "0" and gains on the two amps. Set your components' gain first.

...also, with the deck's bass set at 0 there shouldn't be a lot of bass hitting the speakers. If it still seems like too much, try going down to -1 and compensate by raising the subs gain a little.

I second erty. you definatly dont want the subs to have to try to handle anything much over 120 if at all possible. any higher and some of the voices might be coming through them which would muddy everything up.
