Can this be done?

I had a sony 10disc changer installed the week I bought my 03Max. I dont know why but Im on a big security kick lately, so I was wondering:

The guys at circuit city installed the remote part of the CD changer (which is in the trunk incidentally) directly underneath my AC controls. I was wondering if that could instead be placed in the little compartment near the map lights that are supposed to be sunglass holders. THe dimensions of the controller seem to fit in there.

Any thoughts on how long/hard this job would be? Pricing? Ive had 2 systems stolen in my two previous cars and this time around Id like to make appearances deceptive.

It can definately be done. I doubt that it will be too cheap. I think a decent shop could do it for less than $100. The problem is that it will be facing down righ?

no, as the sunglasses compartment swings down, it would hypothetically leave the control unit facing forward. Which would be perfect.

So, it would be in the swingdown section of the holder? If so, I am sure that a steroshop could do something. Especially if the know how to fiberglass. Depending on the size, you might be able to make a hole cutout to the exact size and rear flush mount it using a glue or something.
