Could my Viper 790XV alarm be causing this?
Hey,
I had this alarm installed a couple months ago but just recently i noticed something, and dont know if the alarm installation is to blame. Last night I noticed that my glove box light and ash tray light werent working?? Could this be a fuse or something? Ive got a 2000 max and I cant remember when these lights were last working. The alarm is the only thing I can think of that might of caused it? Can anyone help me here? -Steve |

first off check the fuse...if all are good then change the bulb...then draw a conclusion on that...

Hey Don, this one is for you!!! Where are you?

umm check a fuse before you really think its the alarm install. Theres generally no connection between the alarm's function and your glove box light. Mabey a fuse was blown, or a wire accidentally cut. But id check fuses first.

hmm yeah ill check the fuses tomorrow...is there a specific fuse for just the glove box light and ash tray thing light? I just thought it was the alarm install because it was the most recent electrical change ive done to the car and I noticed the lights werent working a few days after the install.
