Okay, couple of questions... since I'm not an audiophile or nothing. I pretty much know nothing about car audio, although I did put in the reciever, which I was utterly proud of myself.

First off, I got a Blaupunkt Houston CD receiver. And I got a low-budget bazooka in the back. Right now, the bazooka is tapped into the speaker wires in the rear.

The Blaupunkt comes with 4 ch preamp outputs in the back. So, I want to untap from the speaker wires and run it up to the receiver.

1) What wires should I use (speaker wires? regular ol' wires?) and what jacks?

2) How do I run them up the center? I know I have to take out the back seat. Anything else?

Thanks for helping out guys.

Oh yeah...

A couple of more things.

When I put the new receiver in, I tried taking out the factory radio (naturally). Unfortunately, it was screwed in really tightly. I managed to get two of the screws out, but the other two wouldn't budge and I ground the hell out of them.

So I just put the Blaupunkt underneath the factory radio. What could I do to get the factory radio out? The screws are pretty much now impossible to get out with a regular screwdriver.

ummmmmm.........

Is that a self-amplified Bazooka tube or not? Cause if it is you need to run the RCA wire to the back of your receiver. If it isn't than you need an amplifier. You are damaging the Bazooka by running it off of speaker wire. That is a huge no-no. In order to run any subwoofer, you need an amp which hooks up to your reciever and your sub. Please right back with some more details about the system.

Dude, just undo the bottom of the rear seat and you can pull the RCA jacks through there. As far as the factory head unit goes, this is what I had to do. I had to take a drill and GENTLY drill the other screws out. I am not talking about uncrewing them. I mean, take a drill bit and drill through them. If you go slow, you can get the screws to fall to piece without messing up the factory HU.

Any questions, e-mail me.

The bazooka is a Kraco 200w pre-amped bazooka. Really low budget.

Thanks for all the info. I'm gonna unhook the bazooka and do it right, besides, there were wires all over the place in the trunk and it was getting annoying.
