adding keyless entry to a 4th gen

Since 4th gens have the wires that stock keyless entry would be plugged into, does anyone know if I could just plug in a stock keyless entry reciever? I wouldn't think nissan would put in wires that weren't connected to anything but who knows. If anyone has done this or knows a reason it wouldn't work please let me know. Thanks.

I believe DEI makes a interconnect wire set that you may use with their products: Viper, Sidewinder, Hornet....

The keyless entry needs to be added/intergrated into it.

I'm not sure I understand you guys. I just wanted to know if I could get a stock keyless entry reciever from a junkyard and plug it into the wires in my car.

O in that case, Im sure its possible. But only one way to find out. You may be better off just going with aftermarket.
