Speaker covers on door

Has anyone fabricated a new cover for the speakers that you can see through and looks better than the factory plastic?

theres a thing layer of black fabric. i know, i took it out myself when i changed my speakers. but there are some plastic support posts behind the grill, i guess to keep the grill from bending in, cut those out with a dremel. when your done you could see rite into the door panel and see your nice new speakers.
