Hey guys. I am new to all the audio stuff. I am trying to replace a non bose 97 max with new speakers. I have the JVC KD-S640 cd receiver in there right now and it says 45x4. Now I heard component speakers are better than just replacing the stock speakers? If I do this then waht about the rears. And is there a good site to show how to install it or is there a good how to anywhere? Also which brand should I get. Lookin at spending about 400 dollars. Thanks guys!

 

If you decide to do components keep in mind that an amp will most likely be needed. Most manufacturers will strongly recommend this.
