98 SE Bose stereo problem! PLEASE help!

Well... I thought my system was sounding good when i got my car finally yesterday (shipped to me from florida). But i noticed that it sounded like the right side was much louder than the left side so i adjusted it to where all the sound went to the left side of the car and i heard little to nothing... Anyone know why this is?? I figured if they speakers were blown then for one thing it wouldn't have been all the speakers on that side and for another thing if they were blown wouldn't they still make some kind of god awful noise still?? Well if anyone has any insight on this problem and would like to help me out PLEASE do!

I'm curious about this as well. My right side works great, but the left is as you described. Little to no sound. I just bought new Bose speakers and amps and even they do nothing/little when installed on the left side. This makes me think there is bad wiring somewhere along the line but only on the left side. Anyone have advice? I'd really like to have 4 speakers again!
