P5500MP and speaker help

Hey guys ima neebie at this sry if this question is retarded...
I just bought the Pioneer DEH-P5500MP and in the install instructions says that you speakers need to be "highpowered types with minimum rating of 50W and impedance of 4 to 8ohms" I currently have the regular factory (not Bose) speakers, will these be fine untill i buy something better or will they blow up on me?...i listen with the volume turned all the way up so what do u think?
and when i do decide to get new speakers which should i get?

thanks in advance

you will be fine. Newer speakers will depend on your budget, type of music and your ear preference.
