Quick question - apline 7894 deck

Alpine says you need to have a direct power line to the batter for this deck due to its large internal amp. If I am not going to be using its own amp..do I still need to put a direct power line?

thanks

If you dont use the internal amp I don't think you need to run a wire directly from your battery. It wouldn't be a bad idea though to run a direct wire so your HU won't dim when you hit a bass drop. My 2 cents.
peace

Listen you sHomo, just install the freakin' deck and shut it already. I'm tired of you going behind my back and asking questions and talking trash about me and my car. I'm going to kick your ***!!!

What's up homey? I never ran it to the battery, but like 2AZN said - likely better if you're running the Alpine's amp to power stuff, as opposed to just using it though the preouts.
