Switches

What kind of switch are you guys using to the Redmax monitors? I'm confused because I see that there are automotove switches (12VDC), but they're HUGE. Then I see nicer ones, but they are 125V. Then I see SPST, SPDT, DPDT. What do these mean?

Thanks.

if you mean the huge switches at radio shack, yeah they are nasty. i thought the same thing, would the 125v ac switches work?

well the answer is yes...they do work, i used the really small toggle switches at radio shack. the reason i feel is mainly that you are not using the switches to power MAIN power. it's a remote turn on, so the 12v going through it is not that strong. it's just a signal activating switch

just get the 125v small switches. ih ave it powering my strobes, headunit screen, redmax screens, and my gamecube, and none of them have given me issues.
