Yes, any Excelon series made by Kenwood is good. I was thinking of upgrading my headunit to an Excelon series. More features and tailoring of sound options. Check out my homepage for my Kenwood headunit setup. It's not an Excelon, but I had this Kenwood for years and never had a problem with it.

The 769 is a great piece! I have an 869 in my caddy, which is about the same thing, and I love it. They are really well constructed!

great to hear! whats the diff between the 869 and 769? I wont have a problem connecting the dvd player, lcd player and a 5 channel amp will i? I am also thinking of getting KAC-X650D, the amp and KFC-XR61P speakers.....would these be a good choice? I already have some old 10" fosgate 10's....
