I just got the Viper 790xv Responder installed prob a month ago. I was wondering how loud is the alert on the pager for you guys who have this alarm. My pager beeps softly when my alarm goes off. I don't see how it can be heard if its in your pocket and your alarm goes off. Is there any way to make it louder. Also if you arm your alarm while your hood and/or trunk are open does your pager show that your hood and/or trunk are open? Mine only shows the trunk as being open, but not the hood. When you pop your trunk w/ the remote should it show that the trunk was opened?

Overall I like the alarm. It has nice range. Just kinda curious about what I mentioned above. I know you guys love the 200 questions! =)

 

My beeps are considerably loud, you can also set it to vibrate.
I have not tried my hood, but my trunk does show open, so does the doors. I am currently having major issues with the remote loosing SYNC with the actual alarm. I will be upgrading to the Viper 791 soon. RIGHT DON!!!!

 

mine is pretty loud, i can always hear it and i work in a retail store where there's consistent noise. But sometimes i also get the pager beeping for no reason, i think its probably telling me i'm out of range but not sure.

 

Is it as loud as a real pager beep?
