Speaker Wire.

Hey guys, I got my focals in and my JL 300.4 Amp is gunna be in soon. What speaker wire would you reccomend? How much am i going to need? What the sizes??? lol help me out, Im going crazy!!!!

A good twisted pair speaker wire of at least 16 guage would do just fine. But if you want to force the issue go with some 12 guage, but the twisted construction helps keep out interference.

Radio Shack zip wire. You can twist it yourself if you want and it is the same quality as the rest. Speaker wire isn't nearly as important as the interconnect. Just make sure it is oxygen free copper.

Exactly. I don't know that anyone has ever heard noise that entered the signal chain in through the speaker wire. If so it was never documented or repeated in a scientific test. Get the cheapest "oxygen free copper" that you can find. 16 gauge will be plenty thick for the components.

So where can i buy some cheap speaker wire? or should i just use my existing wire when i rip out my bose????

Home Depot or Lowes are likely the best bet for good cheap wire.
