6x9 in 6.75 hole 98 max how to mount?

6x9 in 6.75 hole 98 max how to mount?
I would like to put some older 6x9 kickers into my 98 maxima in the rear deck. Can somebody tell me how to do it myself? Has anybody done this yet?

just buy some 1 in mdf cut a 6x9 hole and bottome mount the 689 to the wood and mount the wood to the 6.75 hole using stock screws
