is it good to have divided chambers for the two subs? I'm looking at a box that is .8 cu ft per sub. and this guy says it is 3/4 inch MDF. What does that mean?

yeah it's always good to have divided chambers. if one sub fails, the working one will all of a sudden have twice the internal volume (if the box isn't chambered). the air inside a sealed box acts like a spring, which helps control the cone movement.

3/4 inch MDF is just 3/4 inch thick Medium Density Fiberboard. most people use 3/4 inch MDF to construct their sub box.
