so many problems

First I couldn't get my hu screws out but I finally got them out by drilling into them. Thenb today I get my hu in after many attempts trying to make it work with the dhelf I got. I then wire everything and turn on the hu to find out the cd player doesn't work. Its an alpine 9815. When I put in a cd it makes a ticking noise and dosen't recognize the cd. What could be wrong? Then I made rings for my eclipse speakers to fit int he front doors. After I had the speakers in the door panels wouldn't go back on. This projects is becoming so frustrating, I wish I had more time.
