Replacing my stereo head unit....
Hi, I posted this thread a few days ago, but for some reason, it's gone... anyways, Again, I'm making a disclaimer that I really don't much about audio systems, so if this is a lame question, then I apologize in advance.
I want to replace me head unit with a double-din cd/tape player. My maxima has six speakers (4 x 6.5"s and 2 tweeters). But most of the after-market stereo head units say that they are "4 x 'a certain wattage'" (ie. 4x50W). Does that mean that when they are harnessed, the stereo will only be pumping power to only four speakers? Or will the harness automatically split it to the 6 speakers. Or do I have to do it manually?
Also, do you guys know of any good "black double-dins (preferably w/ MP3 capabilities)"?
thanks
