Alpine of Pioneer

Was interested in getting a new head unit... either the pioneer premier 750 or the alpine 9815 which one is better and does any one have any good places with good prices where i can buy either of them

I would pick the 9815, thats the HU I am lusting over right now. Its a great unit. IMO pioneer decks look kind of crappy.

Between those two, get the Alpine. But if you do go for a Pioneer, J&D stereo has good prices.

Get the Alpine. I was tossing up those choices myself, along with the Kenwood KDC-x969. I love the Alpine, but I order the Kenwood because of the deal. Got it for $192 with shipping. I'm just waiting for it to come in right now though, their on back order.

Why do you regret the Pioneer? That's a decent deck, the 850MP.

I've got some boys at a local audio/vido chain, and one of them ordered it for me directly from Kenwood. I could have got a pretty good deal on the Alpine and Pioneer also, but the kenwood was about $100 cheaper than the Alpine (my price) and $50 cheaper than the pioneer (my price).

Sorry, I wouldn't be able to hook anyone else up, I've already checked.

mmmmm, get the Alpine

I got the 9813, just like the 9815 except it's only got a 1-line display (LED though, not LCD) and it doesn't support the silly personalization thing (where you can burn a CD on your PC with all your settings... I can set mine myself thanks ) and I think the 9813 is $100 cheaper

Go w/ the alpine 9815. I had the 9813, but upgraded it to the 9815. I'm not sure if it's me or what, but it seems like the 9815 sounded a lot better.
