Homelink visor---tech question?

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a relay to trigger one of the buttons in the homelink visor? I am installing a system in my car that has voice control for a couple outputs. It'd be nice for one of them to open the garage door. I figured that if the little buttons in the visor have 2 little wires that connect them to the unit that sends the signal out I should be able to make this work. If anyone knows if this is doable that would be a great help!!

I am not positive, but I think all the circuitry for the homelink is right in the visor. The only wires running to it are power and ground. But if you can get it open without destroying it, then I imagine you could determine a way to trigger it. Good luck.
