Manually ejecting cassette tape??

OK, so I put a Discman car adapter cassette in my Bose system today, and it's stuck in there. The deck makes some kinda strange noise while it's in there (almost like it's fast fwding or rewinding the tape), and when I hit the eject button, it either does nothing, or it shuts the whole deck off.

How do I manually eject the tape? Or can I even?

I had the same problem in my '92. However, it was so long ago I don't remember how I got the tape out.(sorry). But I do suggest you do whatever you need to do to get it out in tact, (that includes tear it apart beyond repair) and take that Bose POS and throw it through the window of the next car that cuts you off on your way to work. I only bash Bose because I had bad experiences with them. (Can you tell?) But really, get rid of the Bose and shop for an aftermarket CD player that better suits your needs and your budget.

Have no fear - I'm not keeping the Bose, any part of it. I just have to wait until Thanksgiving when I go home (I'm at school and just bought the car) until I can put my new system in...
Thanks tho...
