Switch Mounting: Tools Needed

Whutz up fellas! Im back. Got all the basics regarding wiring and circuts, now I need a few ideas on mounting these switches. Im trying to place a nice sharp looking switch (blue) for my 7" screen in my my cupholder. I have a 97, and my cup holders have like a nice 3 by 2 inch area of flat space I feel would be perfect for mounting da button. Only problem is the plastic to the holder is pretty thick. Need ideas on how I can get a good clean hole in there without losing any digits or smashing my holder all up. All the tools I have are for basic car maintenance, and I've done my best to figure what I could improvise the job with but the importance of precision with this particular task discouraged me from trying it. So Im back again for ideas/tips!

Thanks in Advance for your Help

Happy ThanksGiving!

If this is just a rectangular type on/off switch you could drill a couple holes and the use a file to get it filed down to size. I did something similar on my previous car and I just took my time and it came out fine.
