What size inverter for PS2?

What size inverter do I need to run a ps2 in my car? What's the smallest I can run without having any problems? What size are people here using?

you can get a decent one (350w) for like $30. that should be enough.

Thanks, do you guys just plug them into the cigarette adapter, or did you hardwire them?

I prefer hardwiring it... that inverter is pretty big (size of your hand) and I keep it in the trunk.... or maybe you can run it from underneath your seat.

Hardwiring

How do you hardwire the power inverter safely?

what I did was wire it directly to the battery with a switch that I added to the fuse hatch underneath the steering wheel.

What's wrong with just getting some wire lenghtening it out by the process of splicing, adding, soldering, and some electrical tape. Now you can hardwire the path of the wire, w/o going too close to the audio grounds, straight to the cabin of your car. Now you can plug and unplug the inverter, assuming it's in the trunk, without having to screw with the battery.
