? about Infinity Bass Link

Know lot of ppl use it.

-How much bass does this make? How hard does it bump? Love the concept of a fool proof, internally powered sub, just wish i could hear one.

sounds great, but if u've ever had a monster system before, or heard a monster system, don't expect that, with the right crossover frequency the basslink blends in very well with the stock system, and it pounds nice and low, as well as deep

monster system = anything with more than 2 subs, or anything with more than 800 watts solely used on the subs

WOrks great as a supplement to the stock system...sometimes I think there is a slight delay in the bass compared to the speaker output...maybe thats cause i have it tapped into the back door speaker leads rather than off the head unit. All in all very happy with it though...much cheaper to buy off ebay than anywhere else I found

I am installing a new HU, Kappa components in the front and Kappa Coax in the back all connected to an amp 100x4. Would the basslink still be a good choice for this setup? I am not looking for something that would make the car next to me shake but a good complement to the front components w/ bass that I can hear.

Thanks,

Mike

The Basslink makes a big difference in your overall audio output. In your case it might sound even better, IIRC the Kappa's have better low and mid-range punch than the Reference series (e.g. as far as frequency ranges goes)

As previously mentioned, you can make it as loud or as deep as you want - but it's no "monster" system.

I'm all for SQ rather than SPL and the basslink is a good mid-point between those two and still having usable trunk space.
