I have a 98 Maxima and just installed an Alpine CDA-9813. Everything seems fine: I checked fade, balance, speakers, fm/am, cd, and everything was fine, except when I put in an mp3-disk the title of the songs did not show. I have windows XP and just use the regular disk burning software. I believe it is Roxio. Any suggestions. Thanks

 

I recorded the cd as a data cd with only mp3 files. All the files include a title and an author, but the fileman is the title.mp3

 

read the manual on the head unit it should give u al the help u need,if not im sorry i can't help more

 

i've got the alpine 9815.. so it should be similar. What you need to do is have an ID3 tag on the mp3 file. You can edit id3 tags from within winamp.

I just checked and on my winamp, it says the all my id3v1 tags are good. But i have no id3v2 tags. Should I change them all to id3v2?

 

Hit the title button on the hu. You may have to hit it more than once to get to the display you want.

 

i got the 9815 and i have freaking idea how2 use it lol. i just know the volume buttom lol
