Check your grounds. Run your power and remote wires on the left side and the speaker and rca's in the rights side.

Run the power and the speaker wires on different sides of the car, that's what causes the noise.

Keep the RCA's cables away from the power cables.

Speaker wires won't pick up noise from the power cable. low level RCA can pick up noise from power and ground wires. Ground noise? What kind of noise does the earth make where you live?

The ground point you chose is not ideal. Pick a clean spot on the floor of the car near the amp. Drill a hole large enough to get a good connection. Sand all the paint away from the contact point and then secure your ground. Keep all power cables as short as possible. We still don't know what is causing the mistery noise since you haven't done a thorough analysis. Your amp ground may be fine. You left many items out in the description of your system.

check to see that you have a solid ground connection on the headunit also...avoid using factory ground. you have alternator whine, so it has to be a bad ground connection somewhere.

No the noise is related to a difference in ground potential. Strut bolt is not a good clean ground. Factory headunit is also not a good clean ground.
Try unhooking the play station and listen to what happens.

A couple of ideas:

1. Try to ground all of your equipment at the same exact point (HU, Amp, TV, etc.) - this removes the risk of any differences in ground potential.
2. Install a "noise filter"/"choke" on the line into the HU - most HU's come with this from the factory as a little box on the +12v power line in but some of the aftermarket install kits give a new harness without the filter.
