Dropping Radar Detector.

I have a passport 8500 and does it damage the unit if it drops off the mount and hits the shifter and then to the floor? I wonder how sensitive these things are to shock.

i've got an 8500, it's pretty tough. before i hardwired mine, the windshield mount let go once, and it slammed onto the top dash then onto the center console. still works like new. you should be ok...
