special screws needed

special screws needed

Can I get the screws that hold the hu trim and doors in palce at a local hardware store? I lost most of them.

Uhhhhh, maybe...

try your local dealer, or someone that's parting out their car..

I'm sure you can find something at the hardware store that will fit, but I dunno about 4th gens on how they blend with the interior. the ones on my 3rd gen are just green phostphate coated screws- pretty common stuff.

I don't think that any of the screws you mentioned are visible once the trim and door panel are in place. If that is true you can just use any metric screw of the correct diameter, pitch and length. Most likely between 4mm and 6mm diameter, 10-20 mm long.

My local lumber supply store carries tons of different kinds of screws. A lot of times they'll just let me take a few out to my car and see if they fit. Most are anywhere between 3 and 15 cents each.
