I am posting this here because i dont know much about wiring and electrical things and thats mainly what this forum deals with....I bought an autodimming mirror (OEM) for my I30 but there is no wiring harness.....can i just cut off the female plug and splice in wires for power, ground and remote turn on (so they turn on with headlights)? How do I figure out which wire is what when I cut off the plug? see this thread:
