Stereo Noob needs help.

My factory non-bose cd player in 02 max crapped out on me yesterday. So I'm going to buy a new deck soon. A couple questions:

What is that adapter I need to keep steering wheels controls, trip comp., etc?

What interior kit do I need?

When circuit city intstalled my subs they used one of those rca adaptor things since the factory HU doesn't have pre-amp sub outputs. How difficult will it be for me to remove that? Will I have to put in new RCA cables that are longer?

Thanks for the help. . . Since I don't have any experience with this stuff, I may be better off getting Best Buy or someone to do it for me Anyone in the DC area got a hookup on this type of thing??????

crutchfield.com has all the info you need and they have all the tools too. Tee steering wheel control iis there as well as some other stuff. Best of all they include their own installation kit free with all the tools you need for free.
