Ive said it be4, and ill say it again.
Alternator to battery positive.
Battery negative to chassis.
Chassis to engine.
As for the alterntor, some people actually upgrade it. I find it easier to just "add" to it. I just added a 4awg wire and ran it to my battery +
That link provided is actually a pretty damn good one. Follow those instructions. Cant go wrong.

I am willing to bet that if they did the hyperground to a brand new car the improvment would be almost nil. The test they did was not scientific or realistic. Just cleaning the terminals can result in large differences in battery, car, alternator co-operation.
