Speaker Issue

My new Pioneer Revs in my front doors sound great when the door panels are off, however, when I put them on and turn the music up, the cone hits the stock grills and causes horrible distortion. What is the easiest/cheapest fix?

this is a quick fix but id take some bass out of the speakers for now. do you have a subwoofer? if you are using the stock brackets you could make your own out of thin wood but you may lose some sq, not 100% sure though.

No, I don't have a sub. I actually bought the pioneers because they have a good amount of bass. Right now my equalizer is flat, and it still hits the grills when I turn it up past 21 (33 is the highest setting). Thanks for the suggestion!
