Alarm Wiring Info
Alarm Wiring Info
Well, Got my new viper 791xv and will be installing it this weekend. From prior experience, I know that installing alarms can be a bit frustrating. Before I start I'd just like to know where all the harnesses can be found. Where exactly is the Ignition Harness? Where is the Body control module? Also, theres a few wires that are said to be found at the "steering column". Where at under the steering column?? I'm sure theres harnesses for the abs, lights, etc etc. Where exactly is it referring to. Wouldn't want to cut anything that I shouldn't... If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Hopefully everything goes smoothly! Thanks in advance!

Yeah email it to me Jasonw672@aol.com
BCM is under your radio, black box w/ 2 nuts holding it down...
Ignition harness is well, under your steering column or in it, theres 2 sides to it it changes colors at the plug the wiring diagram should tell you colors on obth sides of the plug, I just installed the clifford matrix rsx 3.5 and its pretty much the same thing as a viper 791 so its pretty simple...
Make sure you get the right TACH wire (white/green at ECM) unlike me, it was getting late, eyes were blurry, I tapped into the gray/green wire and I had some remote start problems..
Oh and I think you have to use a relay for your trunk release, I Did.
