Pics of DVD setups requested

I have been interested in installing a DVD setup in my 5th gen and after reading some posts here and there, I thought I would start a thread and see if you guys with a DVD setup could do me a favor and post some pictures of your setups and list the required components that run it. I'm trying to get a better idea of how I would like to do mine when the time comes.

Thanks in advance,
-Tim

Hey did it take a lot of modification to mount that game cube in your arm rest?

i removed the armrest console completely out of the car and mounted the GC from below. it's larger than the armrest console itself so i had to cut inside, almost to the very edge, until it finally fit. believe me, if you looked at the insides of it, it was cut to pieces, but it sits nicely and the idea is that from looking at it, it looks totally clean. my next step though is to add a sprint mount from underneath so that when i open the armrest, the GC just raises. the main purpose this follows is that i can actually try and remove it so i can play indoors. i'm addicted to need for speed underground.

another suggestion, if you want a gamecube, try and get hte panasonic Q. it's a gamecube, but with DVD capabilities. so the fact of having both dvd player AND gamecube can save you some money, or if you wanna make it stylish, have 2 different movies playing at the same time in the car.

the gamecube was also rewired so that the game cube can be switched on and off while the armrest is still closed...although i didn't assist with the installation of the gamcube i know that the gamecube has a non-momentary push button style switch....the switch was left "on" and the power or ground wire to the gamecube was wired to a toggle style switch located in the factory heated seat control location
