What Size Amp Do I Need?

I need a new amp but not sure on what amp to get. My sub is 200W RMS and 400W peak 4 ohm. Right now I am only running one 12 but may plan on running 2 in the future so I want to get an amp that will capable of pushing both if need be.
But my question is should I look for an amp that has a close RMS to my sub or close to the peak power.
Like, I am looking to get a Punch P3002
which has 75 W X 2 @ 4 Ohms RMS,150 W X 2 @ 2 Ohms RMS,300 W X 1 @ 4 Ohms Bridged RMS. Is this good for my sub esp being bridged.

I will be running the one sub bridged, so will I be putting 300W to that one sub? Is that sufficient enough?
Thanks for the help!!

find something that will do the 200 rms at 4 ohms but is also 2 ohm stable, and will do around 400 rms at 2 ohms.

But in all seriousness get something that is adequate to push the sub in the enclosure you plan to use. Power handling is highly dependent on the enclosure. Going from 4 ohms to dual 4 ohms will be somewhat difficult unless you buy an oversized monoblock. Something rated at 300 - 500 RMS into 2 ohms. There is a wide range there because of the variability in enclosures and every amp is rated to differing standards.
