hey guys, i just got my clarion dxz835mp hu, and i'm gonna try to install it tomorrow. I got a wiring harness and antena adapter. But i got one question, what do you use to connect the hu harness, and nissan adapter wires together. I was gonna use butt connectors because i don't want to do any solidering, and i noticed that they have 10-12, 14-16, and 18-22 gauge connectors. What size connectors shoiuld i use, or what do you guys usually use to hook up a hu? Thanks in advance.

 

any wire connecters should work

 

If you use 18-22 guage butt connectors, you should be fine. Most of the harness wires are of 18 guage anyway. I usually double up on crimping the wire into the connector anyway to get a tighter/stronger connection.
