Has anyone heard some CDT Components in action? Are they a good brand?

Dont have any....considered a set of HD's....couldn't find a dealer close enough....they are highly regarded and raved about in Audio forums- Ended up with mid level rainbows

The CL 's are so-so entry level.....these I've heard...my .02 cents

Def try to find someone thats willing to audition them or contact a local dealer...

Do they come in a complete set (left and right)? I have been told that you only get a set for the front and get midbass for the rear deck. I know I have seen some maxs on here with components in the rear also. I thought you would want them all around.

Also, do you want the tweets as close to the midbass as possible? I was looking at this on my max the other day. It almost looks as if you could put the tweet above and towards the rear behind the speaker grill. It's shaped kinda funny like it was made for a component system.

Thanks,
drew

a set of cl 61's comes with 2 mid bass drivers and 2 tweets. you're supposed to keep the tweeters as close to the mid as possible, but in my 2k2 putting them in the stock a pillars has yielded excellent results.

I have the CL61 components with the CL6x coaxials for my rear fill

they sound great

however I had to EQ them on the amp and the HU to get them to sound just right.

out of the box, a little too much midbass, but thats actually good with most music, im just picky

i have them

had them installed for maybe 2 weeks before i sold the car and took them out..
now i'm waiting to possibly install them again in my current max...

they sounded a bit harsh to the ears to me.. but then again, i probably couldn't play with the settings right..
