i'm looking for a dedicated sub amp...i currently have a Rockford Fosgate Punch 600a4 powering the sub and the fronts. However, i am thinking of powering the fronts and the rears with the 600a4 and buying a new sub amp. What's better? PPI or Rockford Fosgate? also, would i need a capacitor?? thanks in advance.

amps

i would go with the rockford just to match with the other amp... get like the 500 or the 800......and u can get the amp link to make it look like one amp......PPI is real good and sound real sweet..... but u will get more bang for ur buck with the rock ford .... right now im running 8 8"bazooka tubes with a 800a4 and for the components im using a 400a4

Yeah go for the RF to match the other one that you have. I have PPI so if it was a question between one of these being your only amp I would definetly say go for PPI. I have a PPI PC450 & PC250 amps, running off of my CDX-C90 to Boston Pro 6.5's. This is one clleeeeean sounding system, lemme tell ya.

You should go with another RF just to keep your system looking good, RF amps are really good but I would put my money on PPI amps.
