Non-Bose problems

My stock cd player is being a *****, I can play a cd for like 20 mins then it just stops, it doesnt say error or anything it just freezes, i can switch to fm and that works, then back to cd and it stays where it was before, If i take out the cd and put it back in it will play again. WTF??? All the cds in my car are burns, and diff brands dont make a difference. I just used a laser cleaner disc but that didnt help. What's wrong!!!!!!??????

same here

I am having almost the same problem. I just bought my 97 SE and the first two days the cd player(non-bose) played my cdr's fine. Now after 5 mns of playing I start hearing static and starts skipping. I guess they weren't made for it.
