Can i dim my CD player?

I have a Pioneer DEH-P4600MP CD player, the display is so bright at night that I usually just flip the face down and let it play. Is there way I can dim the face of the CD player like you can dim dash lights?

yes i belive that you turn the radio off and hold the audio button?? which ever it is to set the time. then keep pressing it till you get to the option dimmer on/off. default is off so switch it on. then whenever you turn on yopur headlights the lights will dim.

P.S. i hope you hooked up the orange wire (dimmer wire) Else i belive you are sol
